paul saari
Canadian artist Paul Saari explores the continuing narrative of our place in the natural environment. Mythology, concepts of emergence and scientific literature inspire his work, particularly the ideas of the late physicist and philosopher David Bohm, who argues that reality is an unbroken wholeness, and that in our perception, it becomes fragmented. In reaction to the uncertainty dominating our current time, this latest series of paintings explores the tenacity and ineffable beauty of nature, celebrated through compositions created with the repetition of botanical forms, winding and reaching across the surface, erupting with boundless potential.
